How the Willow Referral System Works
Every Willow user gets a personal referral link. You can find it inside the app in the Referrals tab. You can copy this link and share it anywhere, including:
Text messages
Email
Social media like X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook and more
Your link has a 30 day tracking cookie. That means if someone clicks your link and visits Willow, you will be credited for that visitor if they subscribe within 30 days, even if they did not sign up on the first visit.
What You and Your Friends or Teammates Get
When you refer someone and they upgrade to Willow Pro using your referral link:
You get one free month of Willow Pro (worth about 15 dollars)
They get one free month of Willow Pro when they subscribe
How it works with your plan:
If you are on a monthly plan, you get an extra month added for free
If you are on an annual plan, you get 15 dollars of credit applied to your account
Once your friend’s subscription is confirmed, your account is credited automatically.
Important: Your Friend Must Redeem Their Free Month
For the referral to count and for both of you to get your free month:
Your friend must click your referral link
They must press Upgrade
They must redeem their free month by upgrading
It is completely free for them for the first month, but they still need to go through checkout so the system can apply the reward.
If they only download the app and never redeem the free month, you will not receive a free month either.
How Tracking Works (30 Day Cookie)
Your referral link uses a 30 day tracking cookie. This means:
If someone clicks your link today and comes back to subscribe within 30 days, you still get credit
If they click someone else’s link later, the most recent valid link usually gets credit
Sharing your link often gives you more chances to earn free months.
How to See Your Recent Referrals
You can track how your referrals are doing inside the app.
In the Referrals tab you can see:
Each email that signed up using your link
Whether they are on the Free plan or on a Paid plan
Which referrals have unlocked rewards for you
This makes it easy to see which invites have converted and how many free months you have earned.
Pro Tip: Use Email Auto Signature
One powerful way to earn more free months is to turn on the email auto signature option. When this is enabled:
Willow automatically adds a small “dictated with Willow” style signature with your referral link at the bottom of your emails
Anyone who is curious and clicks that link is tagged to you
If they upgrade to Pro, you earn a free month, even if you never sent them the link directly
This is an easy way to earn months of Willow Pro passively, just by using Willow in your email.

33 percent recurring commission on paid subscribers attributed to your link

In the app, your link will be marked as an Affiliate link instead of just a referral link.
